Lamar High School Bulletin for Friday, March 22, 2019

Seniors attending Crowder: The 2019 Crowder Foundation Scholarship application is now available through the following link: http://www.crowder.edu/foundation/scholarships/application/ Filling out this one application makes a student eligible for 200+ scholarships through the Crowder Foundation. Application deadline is April 1. Electronic submission is required, and there is not a way to save the application, so spend some time composing answers to the essay questions prior to working in the actual application.

SENIORS: Students not attending Crowder in Fall 2019 who will have earned the A+ scholarship upon high school graduation can take 6 hours (2 classes) with Crowder in the Summer of 2019, and A+ will pay! (This is a great way to transfer in credit hours to the college/university the student will attend in Fall 2019.)

2018-19 Lamar High School Yearbooks can be ordered ONLINE for a base price of $45 until April 30, 2019. After that date, the base book price increases to $55. The online ordering link is: https://www.jostens.com/yearbooks/high-school-yearbooks.html

NHS Packet: If you received an National Honor Society packet from Mrs. Housel, forms need to be turned in no later than Friday, March 22nd at NOON! No late applications will be accepted

Cheer Try-out Clinic: The LHS Varsity Cheer Try-out Clinic will be held April 1st, 2nd and 4th. Try-outs will be on April 6th. Applications and try-out details are in the office. Contact Shelby Johnson for more information.

Tigerfest 2019: Dinner & Auction will be Friday - 6:30 - 7:30 Silent Auction - 7:00 Dinner of pulled pork, brisket, salad, potatoes, green beans and dessert. Live Auction will begin at 7:45. Pre-Sale tickets are available in the high school office - $25 per couple/$15 individual. At the door $35 per couple/$20 individual.

SENIORS: PROJECT GRADUATION TOURNAMENT SIGN UP: If you're interested, sign up a team for a 3-on-3 basketball tournament AND/OR volleyball tournament.

SENIORS: PROJECT GRADUATION MOVIE: Vote on a movie to be shown at Project Graduation.

SENIORS: Go to your Google Classroom to find a lot of information on Project Graduation. The Project Graduation Consent Form and Scavenger Hunt Waiver need to be printed off, have it signed, and delivered to Mrs. Willhite at the high school or Mrs. Bunton at the middle school. They are BOTH due ON / OR BEFORE April 18, 2019.

Free Physical forms: If interested in participating in any school sponsored athletics for 2019-2020 school year, please pick up a physical form in the main office or Nurse Diana's office. The medical history, insurance & concussion information must be completed & returned by Friday, April 5th in order to participate in the FREE school physicals.

Sophomores Don’t forget to put your scheduling requests in Powerschool and turn in your scheduling forms to the Counseling Center by the end of TODAY!

Activities for today: Track will travel to Nevada - release at 1:00 - meet time is 4:00. Archery is at Branson for state competition today and Saturday.
