Enrollment Information

• Must be 4 years of age before August 1, 2026.
• Complete the online Pre-Registration form.
• Enrollment is limited to 60 students.
  • Once we have reached capacity, your child will be placed on the waiting list.
• Schedule your child's screening.
  • Screening Dates: TBA - for those who missed screenings in March.
• Students who are age-eligible for kindergarten are not eligible for preschool.
• Transportation is NOT available for preschool students.

• Must be 5 years of age before August 1, 2026.
• If your child was enrolled in our Tiger Preschool program and is proceeding into Kindergarten:
  • you will follow the steps outlined below in our Annual Verification / Re-Enrollment,
  • and, your child will be screened during Tiger Preschool.
• If your child is enrolling in to the Lamar School District for the very first time:< >Complete our online pre-registration form. Schedule your child's screening:Screening Dates: TBA - for those who missed screenings in March.

• Students from Dadeville, Golden City, Greenfield, Jasper, Liberal, Lockwood, Sheldon, and Stockton who applied for our LCTC programs will be notified of their acceptance into an LCTC program. 
• Follow the instructions outlined in the acceptance packet.
  • General Registration / Enrollment Information for NEW Students.
• If your home school (e.g. Stockton) is also a PowerSchool School you will have TWO separate parent PowerSchool accounts. Your LCTC student forms will only be available to you on your LCTC parent account. 

1. Click on the Enrollment Link below for NEW Students or returning students who have transferred out of the District.
2. Submit your child's pre-registration information.
   *Submit only one pre-registration form per child.
3. Once the pre-registration information has been received and approved, you will receive an email from PowerSchool that contains information specific to you to set up your parent PowerSchool account.
4. Create your parent PowerSchool account. 
5. Once your account has been created, log in to your account. 
6. Upon logging in, Click on Forms on the left side of the navigation menu.
7. Your students' Enrollment forms are displayed.
8. Click on the first form displayed and complete then click submit at the bottom of the form. Student forms are set to automatically take you to the next student form. 
9. Lamar students will complete all forms that are displayed in District, Health, and New Enrollment categories.
10. Lamar Career & Technical Center (LCTC, formally Vo-Tech) students will complete all forms in the Health and LCTC categories.
11. When forms have been completed the status flag will change from "Not Started" to "Submitted".
12. Upon completion of your students' forms, return to the navigation menu and click on forms. Verify all forms state "Submitted". Select any form that is "Not Started" and complete. 
13. Enrollment forms are to be completed for EACH new student you are enrolling in the District.

• Parents / Guardians log in to your parent PowerSchool account. 
• Click on forms in the navigation panel on the left side.
• Complete all forms for each child displayed. Verify that all forms state "Submitted".
• If at any time during the school year there is a change to your child's home address, transportation (bus route) emergency contacts and/or medical information, log in to your parent PowerSchool account and review your students forms. Resubmit as needed.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may schedule and appointment to utilize a District device on site. If any additional information is required to complete your students' Enrollment or Annual Verification you will be contacted by a member of our staff. 

Appointments will be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:15 PM, Monday - Friday
