Dear Lamar Families,

Welcome to the new school year! As I begin my first year as Superintendent of Lamar R-I, I want to express how honored and excited I am to serve this incredible community of students, families, educators, and staff.

 As I step into this role, I bring with me a deep respect for the work that has already been done and a strong sense of responsibility for what lies ahead. My goal is to lead with integrity, transparency, and a student-first mindset in all we do. I am committed to learning from our staff, students, and families as we work together to build on our district’s strengths and embrace opportunities for growth.  

It’s clear to me that Lamar is a special place—full of pride, tradition, and a shared commitment to doing what’s best for kids. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help lead this district forward, and I look forward to working together to create the best possible learning experience for every student.
