Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to Lamar Middle School! As the principal, I wanted to take a moment to extend a warm and enthusiastic greeting to each and every one of you. I hope you're excited about this new chapter in your educational journey.
Middle school is an exciting time filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and personal development. It's a place where you'll make new friends, discover new interests, and challenge yourself academically. I encourage you to approach this experience with an open mind and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
In middle school, you'll encounter a diverse range of subjects and teachers who are dedicated to helping you succeed. Take advantage of the resources and support available to you, both inside and outside the classroom. Don't be afraid to ask questions, seek help when needed, and actively engage in your studies.
I also want to remind you that middle school is about more than just academics. It's a time to explore your passions and interests through clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities. Get involved in activities that spark your curiosity and allow you to develop new skills and talents.
Throughout your time in middle school, remember to treat others with kindness and respect. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported. Embrace diversity and celebrate the unique qualities that each individual brings to our school community.
As your principal, my door is always open. If you have any concerns, ideas, or achievements you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am here to support you and ensure that your middle school experience is both rewarding and memorable.
Once again, welcome to middle school! I am thrilled to have you as part of our school community and look forward to witnessing your growth and success.
Sincerely,
Mr. J.D. Gee
